WHAT WE FIX

What can the Neubie help with?

Reduce pain

By incorporating the Neubie device, and utilising the NeuFit Method, the manual and stimulation-based techniques will help to find the cause of pain by first identifying and then helping to focus the care and rehabilitation of the weak links in an individual’s neuromuscular system.

Restore function after neurological injury or disease

With the Neubie and The NeuFit Method, we are able to tap into the power of neuroplasticity to stimulate adaptations. In the process, we remove the functional obstacles that might slow down structural healing to upgrade the body’s software by helping the body’s hardware rebuild and grow more efficiently and effectively.

Faster path to recovery after an injury or surgery

The Neubie and the NeuFit Method’s ability to both find and focus therapy and care of the underlying cause of the injury. Our device and techniques enable and help users reactivate muscles and reprogram dysfunctional movement patterns to support the body in healing and performing at its highest level.

Improve fitness and performance

With the Neubie, users are able to achieve fitness goals much faster! By using the NeuFit methodology and electrical stimulation we can access high levels of muscle recruitment without putting a ton of stress on the body. Pairing The NeuFit Method with the Neubie device both boosts performance and fitness and re-educates muscles to perform at their highest possible level. Our methodology includes strategic mobility drills to “bulletproof” a user's joints and improve movement quality and capacity while training muscles to be more pliable and absorb more significant amounts of force.

THE NEUFIT SYSTEM

Combining the Neubie with training and its best practices – our NeuFit Methodology

We were inspired to create a new electrical stimulation device when we studied neuroplasticity, the natural ability of the body to heal itself. Our goal was not just to create a new tool, but to also develop a comprehensive care pathway called the NeuFit Method that would ensure safe, consistent, and optimal use of the Neubie device. We have trained our own staff in the NeuFit Method and have created a full education and certification program for other caregivers who wish to use the Neubie device in their practice.

Garrett, our founder, and CEO wrote a book, titled The NeuFit Method, further detailing the benefits of our rehabilitation methodology on the nervous system for faster healing and optimal performance.

What makes the Neubie different from other current devices for therapy?

Alternating Current (AC) Devices
  • Think "TENS" unit or "Russian" stimulation.

  • Primarily only used for short-term pain management or fatiguing hypertonic muscles.

  • Foreign to nervous system.

  • Limitations in application for functional movement by creating excessive tension effecting movement quality.

Other Direct Current (DC) Devices
  • Requires shorter pulse widths to avoid thermal damage to the skin due to charge build-up.

  • Most not suitable for use of neuromuscular electrical stimulation which requires greater energy delivery for neuromuscular re-education.

  • Commonly used passively for Iontophoresis (transdermal drug delivery) or low intensity microcurrent.

The Neubie
  • The Neubie includes an additional "carrier" waveform that dissipates heat and charge buildup, allowing for higher-intensity direct current stimulation without irritation.

  • Imitates the action potentials of both the peripheral and central nervous systems, allowing for communication with virtually all parts of the body.

  • Can comfortably achieve more power delivery and intensity into the muscle fibers and sensory afferent pathways to accelerate the body’s tissue healing abilities.

  • Allows for active movement and optimal eccentric contractions to generate neuromuscular adaptations, improved performance of complex dynamic movements, and faster recovery of muscle contractility and functional abilities.

Customer Success Stories

Examples of how the Neubie is changing lives for the better.

Angie and Joe McGilvrey

Owners of Apex Physical Therapy

"NeuFit has really helped us in building our business around athletes. In addition to using the Neubie in our PT practice, we've hired a strength and conditioning coach who uses the Neubie on the performance side, so now we're able to expand our scope to serve patients all the way from the rehabilitation side through to elite sports performance, using NeuFit throughout that whole continuum."

Brian Gallagher, PT

Former "National Practice of the Year Winner" and Founder of MEG Business

I tell practice owners to find the thing that is going to make them stand out, to make them look like a zebra and not like all the other brown horses. When I first experienced the Neubie, I knew it would be one of those true differentiators. And for the practice owners I work with, it's impacted their outcomes, their overall quality and brand, and their revenue.

Jacqui Broering

Owner of Performance Physical Therapy & Wellness

Not only has the Neubie resulted in patients seeing improvements in function and a reduction in pain much faster than our previously manually driven treatment approach, our therapists don't have to physically work as hard and are more enthusiastic with delivery of care as improvements are substantially greater in less time. The use of this innovative technology has patients unsolicitedly marketing for us and has been instrumental in attracting forward thinking students for clinical affiliations and recruiting additional staff that align with the culture of our business.

THE NEUBIE

A direct current stimulation device that aids in health and recovery.

The Neubie® is NeuFit’s patented direct current (DC) electrical stimulation device. It is an acronym for “neuro-bio-electric stimulator” and is FDA-cleared. Using DC has several unique effects on patients including promoting and optimising the healing of tissue, bone, muscle, connective tissue, and nerves. This is achieved through the activation of the nervous system and all of the healing processes it controls.

The process of healing and rehabilitation, detailed on our homepage, focuses on first identifying the “blocks” in the nervous system, and then resetting and re-educating those blocked or broken neuro pathways, and then finally breaking through to achieving results better, faster, and stronger than before.

For optimal rehabilitation and recovery, we designed and now train our practitioners and home care users on our best-practice methodology to best deliver care with the Neubie -referred to as our NeuFit® Method.
